Youth Learning Programs Coordinator
Christy grew up in central Massachusetts and now lives on the New Hampshire seacoast. She graduated from Plymouth State University with a BS in Adventure Education after discovering that you could in fact do “adventure things” as a career, and more recently earned a PgDip from The University of Edinburgh in Anatomical Sciences. Prior to joining Project Adventure, they taught outdoor environmental education, high school science, facilitated on challenge courses around New England, and even served as a summer camp director. Outside of PA, Christy serves on her town’s fire department as an AEMT, has been a volunteer with the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) since 2019, and does trailhead visitor education for the White Mountain National Forest.
